What do you like about working at Travelers?

"The people made the job excellent. Everyone hired was brought on for a very specific skill set and everyone worked well with each other."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Skill set is important and knowledge in multiple environments an absolute value. The corporate environment is very much just that. Team building is minimal but corporate growth is possible with the technical background to support it. Be prepared to work hard and compensation is possible."

What don't you like about working at Travelers?

"Management seemed to have a disconnect with the employees. It was tough to get projects approved in stages. Micromanaging was not a problem as long as it was kept up on but more responsibility should have been left in the hands of the employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust in the employees to make conscious decisions for the company on a project by project basis. They have the most direct access to the data and user feedback and their opinions are absolutely valid."
