"I didn't. They were absolute slave drivers and by the time I left, my blood pressure was so high I was told I had type 2 hyper-tension from the stress. The demand that you be on the phone no less then 95% of the time, and monitor this."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't! You will end up with health and mental problems because of this job. Management is clueless and you won't realize this until it's too late. Anywhere but here do you want to work!!"

What don't you like about working at TIAA-CREF?

"The company doesn't listen to valuable suggestions, and management thinks they know it all. They were terrible!! The phone calls never stop coming in b/c the business model is horrible! It can be fixed but, management is too stupid to listen!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You have the opportunity to be a great company, but you haven't got a clue about what is important. You could streamline your planes down to approximately ten different layouts, instead of letting the colleges run over you with every tiny demand. You have a very inefficient business model and are clueless on how to fix it."

What do you like about working at TIAA-CREF?

"I was terminated from TIAA-CREF underhandedly. They say it was a licensing issue but I investigated it and found out that they deliberately failed to update my licenses and were seeking ways to get rid of me. Management there is very incompetent. If you are a hard worker, devoted to doing your best, they don't see it. They are run by the worst inhuman management known to man."

"Discrimination, bad management."

"Quit and let me show you how to run the company."

"Stabilize the workforce. Pay more attention to employee concerns about poor levels of service. Employees are reluctant to be honest because they fear losing their jobs."
