"National Semiconductor was acquired by Texas Instruments after I left the company. While I was there, I found the work both challenging and stimulating, and the work environment very supportive. The company rewarded its successful contributors with a generous bonus and stock compensation plan (both actual and options). Assuming the TI environment is as good as the NSC environment, I would have no problem recommending this employer to others."

Texas Instruments Employee

What do you like about working at Texas Instruments?

"I got very disappointed with this company, so I can say I didn't like to work for TI."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't lose your time trying to get a job with company like this one, that just only uses your talent, meanwhile they want -generally 7 to 10 years. On the other hand, it is very hard-sometimes impossible-to technical growth, and managers behave like big arrogant masters without any care for their slave employees."

What don't you like about working at Texas Instruments?

"Never had opportunities to technical growth, management betrayed a lot of people this year, laying off thousands of employees, and they did a lot of stupid mistakes losing a lot of money and then big layoff. Some honorable big stupid mistakes: they lied about RFAB and threw away a lot of money on Nascar DSP... I'm happy to not be there anymore."

Company will fail unless it realizes that excellence does not come at a cut price."

What suggestions do you have for management?
