"National Semiconductor was acquired by Texas Instruments after I left the company. While I was there, I found the work both challenging and stimulating, and the work environment very supportive. The company rewarded its successful contributors with a generous bonus and stock compensation plan (both actual and options). Assuming the TI environment is as good as the NSC environment, I would have no problem recommending this employer to others."

"It is a good place if one would like to work harder and smarter for long time."

"If this is a career starting job, take it. Get experience and move on to a better cultured company."

What don't you like about working at Texas Instruments?

"Heavy turnover of employees. Hire and lay off is more like a roller coaster. One needs to be closer to higher management to remain employed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Please stop politicizing working environment. Good and smart employees should not be a part of extra staff ready to let go just because they are not involved in butter polishing upper management."
