Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Remember, you will be a nobody. The customers won't treat you like a human being, the company looks at you as just another faceless drone, and if you want to advance you had either marry into the local bosses family or find a way to blackmail someone who can promote you."
What don't you like about working at TeleTech?
"The middle management were extremely inefficient. They would spend hours in meetings, fail to pass along any important information to the floor supervisors, and attempt to control the way employees expressed themselves on company property. The equipment was mostly adequate, except for the servers. Not enough processing power, programming on par with Windows 95, frequent lag and crashes, and irreparable programming for various products offered by the client to their customers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would improve the quality of the work environment by making sure regular cleaning and maintenance were completed for the ventilation equipment and duct work. I would make sure each building exceeded the minimum requirements for all fire codes. While making these improvements, I would ensure that there were at least two IT specialists for each client. This would limit downtime and increase the rate at which needed upgrades could be completed"

What don't you like about working at TeleTech?
"When there was not a way of helping a customer with their issue if it was out of my control"
"The company management shows a lot of favoritism in who they hire to move up. They provide you with the most basic tools to do your job, which malfunction most of the time. They don't value the employee. They pretend to have great benefits but when you look at the benefits they are bare minimums as well. In fact HR doesn't even know how to take advantage of some of the benefits, like tuition reimbursement."
"Short vision leadership in a very potential industry."
"I have worked for Teletech for a year now and it has gotten worse - no hours, they hire all the time and it keeps us from getting more hours, the systems don't work half the time and the supervisors can never answer your questions."
"I've worked for Teletech since 2006. Availability to move up was always available but compensation was always under the market. TeleTech is not an IT company, in essence is just a BPO."
"I worked at the Springfield, MO Teletech for almost a year and it was the most horrible work experience I've ever had. About halfway through training, I found out I was pregnant, but was promised maternity leave and accommodations for any pregnant issues that may arise. It was all bull. The job itself, a service representative for USAA banking, was made out to be a big deal, and that we were patriotic and supporting our troops, and it ended up being all about sales."
"GREAT JUMPING OFF POINT - Just know what is best for you."
