"My contract assignments were too short in length so I was forced to change work locations often."

"Sometimes one gets hired after contract too! Sometimes they also get other contract."

"No projects after completion of 2 month project/contract. No training."

"We are always busy, and work I do really means something."

"It's not a bad company to work for. Just keep in mind there is no 401 K."

"On this contract, my TEK recruiter and his assistants had no clue what the job was or how to do it."

"TEKSystems is excellent at placing the right person at the right job. Have been working with them for 7 years and have been placed at some really incredible positions."

"None of the opportunities have converted into regular full time positions."

"Work with vendors to provide better insurance options/coverage for the contractors."

"If you need a job, go for it - otherwise I would shy away."

"None; consulting uses your available skills while not providing the opportunity to build new skills."

"Great recruiters, terrible pay w/ zero benefits."

What do you like about working at TEKsystems?

"I was a govt contractor at Pope and the recruiters were awesome. I reported to them when I needed something company related. They stopped through the area about once a month to check on us and often took us to lunch. This small offering is why I stuck with them as long as I did. The actual recruiters cared. They were always a phone call and email away. Something that can't be said for any big company where you have to pick through an HR directory to find the person who can help you."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Understand the pay is not ideal on temp positions, but if you don't screw up, you often will get picked up by the primary contract holder such as L3, Lockheed, or GD."

What don't you like about working at TEKsystems?

"Terrible pay. A large part of their business is dealing in short term contract to hire contracts so pay is quite low, but offers the light at the end of the tunnel. If I could have had a perm position with them with decent pay I would have loved to stay due to the 2-3 guys I reported to actually caring about employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Take a close look at the guys that service the Pope/Bragg area of NC right now and take notes. The work sites often suck, but that can't be controlled. These guys make a bit of difference when it comes to dealing with frustrations."

"The challenge of it all and spending time with very professional people."

"Smile a lot! Giggle with all kinds of smiles, that helps morale!"

"The long walk and issues dealing with 3rd party vendors."

"Be more careful and although I know it's tough, have a better project plan."
