Submit a Review"There are so many opportunities with this company and keeping that end goal in site is a great motivator. I love the camaraderie in the office, among the recruiters specifically. One of the hardest parts of this position is dealing with factors that you must complete but are out of your control. Another hard part is just picking up all of the IT lingo that you will use for the rest of your career."

"I really don't have any; they are very laid back; I fact just be honest about what you can offer them"

"I think that they should be able to offer better salary and benefit compensation"

"I really think they do need any suggestions, there management is great"

What do you like about working at Norwin Technologies?
"Somewhat close to home, easy commute. Being along Rt 1 made it easy to find lunch."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be prepared to take charge of your own fate. You'll get a taste of the business here, but there is little room to grow. If you already know the IT staffing world you should be all set."
What don't you like about working at Norwin Technologies?
"Big time micromanagement. Was brought on to work 8:30-5, and was then manadated to work 8-6 with no change in pay or incentives. Commission plan is eh when they eventually let you earn commission. Don't plan on learning much."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Start a training program beyond roll plays once a week. If you post an entry level job, make it entry level and don't leave newbies sitting in a cube with no idea."

"The people I work with are high energy and all around fun to interact with."

"Make sure that you have a clear picture of what advancement looks like for your office."

"Too much focus on the numbers and not paying attention to what will help people grow."

"Stop managing numbers and focus on managing the people working for me."

"It's a good company to come to and great people to work with."

"If I was running the show, I'd like to be more strict on sales reps. Holding them more accountable for their job."

"Just be yourself. If you don't know the answer to a question the interviewer would rather hear that you don't know instead of being given a fluff answer."

"At times things were a little disorganized. With the company being a small business there was some confusion when things got extremly busy."

"More training for new hires. There wasn't much training for the new hires that started with the company."

"Constant micromanagement that focused too much on the negative and compensation. Not much room for growth."

"Less micromanagement to give employees more freedom to run their own desk."

"Ask a LOT of questions about the commission structure, and get everything in writing."

"The sales team controls candidate submittals with no regard to recruiter input"

"Rework the approach to working recruiters with account reps and take more inout from recruiters"

"Nothing. They work you with mindless submittals. It is a very quantity versus quality organization and is instilled within their philosophy."

"DO NOT INTERVIEW. It is not worth it. You will get sued for $10,000, if you leave within a year. You will want to! Trust me."

"Being hounded with metrics all day long. Constantly working in fear. Just feeling unappreciated and used, day in and day out."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Learn to work with a moral backbone. Your workforce is not here to be your footstools. Stop trying to profit by hurting others."
