"I like the opportunity to educate students, networkwithint the community and expand my knowledge base by teaching my kids daily! I also like working with the staff and being able to gather wisdom from the tenured teachers."

"Being a teacher requires someone who is passionate about children and education. My advice to anyone applying to be an educator is to simply have a joy to be around kids; get use to being overworked and underpaid. Being a Teacher is a sacrifice. You have to be selfless and willing to give time, patience, and understanding."

"I did not like the fact that some of students were facing unfortunate issues that I was warranted gaainst being involved in. I knew that education was multifaceted when I applied but I did not expect my students to have gone through so much at young ages."

"I think management can take a more active role in supporting teachers with the discipline of students and allowing access to more resources year round and not just at the beginning of the school year."

"Working with the students and watching the learning process. Having a set time schedule and full benefits."

"Choose a different career...run far far away....deliver newspapers instead of that."

"I would recommend them to dress properly for the interview and be modest and polite while answering the interviewer's inquiries. Also I would recommend them to do some homework on this company before the interview."

"The level of responsibility and duties delighted to me was not reflected in my salary, which is why I took the head teacher position at the Albert Career School."

"I think support and encouragement are key! I think if teachers were paid a little more that would increase productivity and more teachers would want to continue in that field."

"Get ready to do what you love without being rewarded with the freedom to even decorate your classroom the way you want to, or having the luxury to go out and eat lunch with friends. Pay will be very low."

"The teaching profession is not as rewarding as it probably used to be. Parents and administrators are all too demanding, and there haven't been raises in years."

"There are too many demands and expectations with very few rewards."
