"The age group can wear you down. I teach mostly 10-13 year-olds who are all experiencing various levels of physical and emotional growth. However, I do love teaching and there is no finer moment for me than when I see the light go off and the child finally understands or is able to make connects to the current book from a book previously read. Yet, the system is inherently broke making it difficult to really roll up your sleeves and work with these children which is the frustrating side."
