Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Well, this is retail... during slow periods, your hours will be cut. The pay is lousy. Weekends are mandatory. Don't expect to be promoted if you simply come into work every day and do good work. You need to brown nose if you wanna go up the ladder. If any job is better than no job, this ain't a bad place at all. If you can get a job with real financial stability, do not bother applying at Target."
What don't you like about working at Target?
"Lousy pay. Lousy employee discount... 10% off in a 8.25% sales tax area is ridiculous. Nobody appreciates any of the little things I do every day, just 'cause it's the right thing to do, like straightening things and making the merchandise on the shelves look good and putting items in their correct locations. I never know how many hours I'll have two weeks from now, which means financial stability is a real issue. Pissy customers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Appreciate the quiet people who come in every day and do good work on the sales floor."
