"I love the fast paced style of being a network and systems admin. Being able to support a real world mission has a great benefit to it as you know that what you are doing is definitely making a difference. This isn't just a regular job, this could easily be a life for many people."

"I love learning new things and there is always some better way to do Java development. System Administration is a challenging field as it encompasses a multitude of various skill requirements depending on what needs doing. I have learned new methods from the usual load balancing and user management, to the scripting for automation, to network administration to network security back to networking and load balancing again. Both of these roles back to back was a challenging and time consuming mess, but I love it to death."

"The best thing about working as a systems administrator is the ability to constantly learn new things and make improvements that will ease the workload of the end users. This is also the down side. You have to keep up with an ever changing environment and technology setting. You have to wear many hats and juggle many tasks on any given day."

"I love my job. It's always changing with new technologies and there's always something that needs to be done and needs to be learned. I brought my job with me when I moved to California and began working from home. I don't like that aspect of it. I prefer to be in an office environment where I feel more involved in the day to day activities."
