"It's a great company to work with if you're looking to be in that particular field."
"I am currently employed with Southern California Edison since July 2017. SCE offers great benefits such as PPO/HMO medical insurance, free vision, purchase time-off, 11 holidays, 3 weeks vacation, 401K matching and more. Diversity and Inclusion is the definition of SCE where each and every employee matters no matter the position title or identity."
"A great company actively seeking to modernize their process. Filled with talented and endearing coworkers."
"AVOID this company like the plague, or in particular Power Procurement business unit and specifically Contracts. Senior Management in this group is arrogant and prefer only "yes" men. Significant turnover of all of our young new grad analysts who recognize this is a company with poor, incompetent leadership. If you do not heed my warning and do join power procurement recognize nepotism runs rampant and yes men get promoted. Senior management so badly messed up the Greenhouse Gas auction that they bought 10 times more credits tan needed and not a single Manager or the Director at the time were held accountable. At least you should know what you are getting into. Jobs that are ECT2 or ECT3 in Contracts should be avoided at all costs. You do not want to work for the senior leader of that group. If this is the best you can do I guess it beats Walmart! If you are a rote thinker, have no ambition, and don't mind spending 2/3f your day in useless boring meetings maybe its for you. Just be warned if you read this review as I have been there and wish I knew beforehand. Most of the top performers have exited unless they are to old to leave. Good luck!"

"SCE is a quasi-governmental company with all benefits and non-benefits associated. Change is political and not driven by measurable metrics."
