What do you like about working at Office Depot?
"The company places value on their employees and tries to maximize their talents. I had a variety of roles with Office Depot moving me into roles that exercised my current talents and stretched me to learn more."

"They are a sales driven organization and potential employees should provide proven techniques on how they will improve the revenue and retention situation."
What don't you like about working at Office Depot?
"The company today is lacking a direction that is communicated. It seems that many departments are in survival mode with what they know best but I am not sure that is the same direction the executive leadership is moving."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They should communicate their long term goals for the company and present a strategic direction as to how they are going to get there. They should develop a better approach to listen to their employees. Additionally the company should work to bring all groups together and establish a unified approach to the business."

"Accenture offers projects in different companies and everywhere in the world."

"Make sure you have a good supervisor and work very close to him. Your promotion and reward will depend on how much your supervisor will fight for you (not what you've accomplished)."
What don't you like about working at Accenture?
"The focus of the people is to get promoted and not get the job done."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Eliminate the stack laddering process, it does not stimulate team work - experienced hires get frustrated after the first year."

"The company was sold to USFIlter. I have never worked for the current Chester Engineers."

"I worked for this company over 15 years ago. It has been sold and is no longer the same company."

"I liked the smart, nice people, as well as their effort to move people up from within the company."

"Be prepared to give examples or stories from your experience to illustrate how you helped others, and could help Amex."

"Too many reorganizations, so hard to get traction around things. Too many managers who did not treat employees well mixed in with great managers."

"Ensure more consistency across the organization in applying a meritocratic approach. Make more effort to get rid of toxic managers."

"Employees work very hard and get the job done, we have the opportunity to drive our career path as long as you bill 40 hours a week to a client and work another 30 hours of your own time to do it."

"Be aggressive and appear to have a broad leadership view."
What don't you like about working at Sogeti USA?
"A lack of Integrity at the executive level. Sr. leadership will short change every consultant in any way possible. Rejected expenses, unpaid incentive programs, cheap hotels, etc.. Annual pay increase average is 2% nationally."

"Continually reducing the value you return to your good motivated employees will drive them away or demotivate them. You will be left with the cheapest and lowest common denominator."
