"Both policy and upper management changes every few months with no time to catch a breath. In a state of constant upheaval and outsourcing is constant. Everyone is stressed and overworked."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop making unreasonable demands under threat of outsourcing. It's de-motivational. Staff the departments properly and let go of useless middle managers who contribute little to nothing. Company is top-heavy."

"I think Aetna gave me a strong knowledge of the Healthcare Industry. I learned many aspects from HIPPA to underwriting to Group and Individual Coverage, I enjoyed learning the knowledge which I have applied in my current position."

"I think the interview process is quite lengthy with 3 interviews, 2 by phone good to know"
What don't you like about working at Aetna?
"I did not see opportunity for unobstructed growth. The structure was built on senority with a constant threat of layoffs this made the more experienced workers adverserial instead of being mentors."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I feel like they should make a more welcoming environment for new employess and they in turn would want to stay longer."

"I have the opportunity to work with my old boss from Sprint. and the staff is wonderful."
