"Very low pay. It's boring. Sometimes dangerous. I couldn't carry a gun. Supervisors are rude and don't listen. Other officers are immature, don't listen, think they're cool and know everything, when, in reality, they're dumb! I received no respect on the job. I was forced to work outside against my will, in the intense heat and cold weather. That caused me to have serious Asthma attacks and the managers did not care. They wouldn't change my work location for my medical condition."

What do you like about working at Securitas?
"I like that it feeds me and my children. I like that they offer good healthcare for my family. I love that they work so well with my union even though the dues are not for me, I work. I love my job and almost all of the good people I work with. It is what you make of it, like most things in life."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Wear a suit, it will get you an interview. Set your expectations to a reasonable level, this is a security officer job after all, and make the best of it. It could carry you to places you never imagined for yourself. Patience, hard work, and loyalty are rewarded. It is a company... It is a business. Either help it and yourself make money or don't even bother, find another job to work short term."
What don't you like about working at Securitas?
"The culture is aged and stale. There is a lack of innovation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My management team is multI layered, maybe too much so. Less chiefs more workers."
"I love to meet new people every day. Working as a security officer you are in control or responsible for everyone within the property of the company. I love helping people with what ever question they might have. Just seeing their smile after my answer is great."

What do you like about working at Northeast Security?
"I like helping the customer with directions/suggestions, working alone in CCTV room, standing on post deterring crime, and pay(13.00/hr)"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Interview with Northeast Security was great but second interview with the account manager at South Station Boston MA was terrible. He threatened to fire me right off the bat before witness my work performance. Dress business like attire and be careful for certain accounts they have."
What don't you like about working at Northeast Security?
"The boss who goes by the name Captain. He threatens your employment. He supervises by fear. He is generally very negative. No training on complex task such as detex tours, CCTV room, and emergency procedure, and fires you very easily. Co-workers that have been there for a while are very complacent. South Station client do not compromise with them at all on good principles."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Encourage and recognized hard working employees. Reward good employees. Give employee a chance to correct mistakes before termination."

"What I liked about working at the company is that I became the night supervisor."

"Ask for job locations close to where you live or for employment within a ten mile radius if at all possible."
What don't you like about working at AlliedBarton Security Services?
"I did not like the communication breakdown, guards falsifying records, and structure damage."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management must always communicate adequately with all fellow emplooyees at all times."
