"It's most always boring and it's never stimulating. You wear a sharp uniform that make you look like a real professional. However, you're NOT (75 % of the time) performing any high level work. Your very routine job tasks can truly be accomplished by any 6th grade school child that was trained well."

"I did love my job, but what ruined it for me was supervisors not doing their work and you getting the blame for it. I trained and completed all of my company's training program and yet not even a good job. I think the company I worked for ruined my future as a security officer."

"I have a great working relationship with my supervisor. I get paid slightly above average than most other security companies. Unfortunately, I do not see any advancement into management. We have the contract with FedEx, and I work at the Sacramento hub. Most of the employees treat us well. Unfortunately a lot of the work is repetitive and no longer offers a challenge. I love interacting with the employees, but I hate having to check their sweaty shoes for stolen cell phones."
