"No benefits. The company had a great compensation plan especially with the commissions but they neglected to put in place any healthcare packages."

"None, the company was a well oiled machine. As far as sales were concerned the company was absolutely fantastic."

"After the holiday season the store was dead. I couldnt apply my degree at OfficeMax becasue I am an art major."

"It was a secure job in a rough economy. The people working at this particular store were exceptional, bright, and fun to work with."

"The company was not an innovative, top-down culture. Employees were expected to be drones. There was no room for growth or innovation."

"The company had good direction until the merger fell through. They are now closing 7 call centers and cutting down on the existing centers. They are now at 60 percent outsourced and 40 percent in the united states."

"Make sure that you are able to withstand a constant flow of customer disatisfaction if you are going to the retnetion department."

"The mid level management has an opportunity to be held more accountable for performance."

"I like the great co-workers, friendly customers, and good environment. It was an easy and fun job for one that pays minimum wage."

"I was hired on the spot for a seasonal position."
What don't you like about working at Kohl's?
"Management doesn't seem to have it totally together. I was told I was being kept after the seasonal period ended, but at the last minute they said they weren't keeping me."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get more scheduling/office staff. That way it's easier for the office to stay organized and up to date so that they won't be telling people false information, like they're going to hire you permanently and then last minute tell you otherwise."
