"It is a great place to work for."

"I love that I work with customers but I do think the pay sucks."

"Overall management were under qualified for the position title, unprofessional at times, poor communicators, lazy structure, bad company culture and abuse of power. I was often uncomfortable while witnessing SM Store managers (14/15) flirt relentlessly with the few attractive female co-workers the company had. Slimy work ethics to say the least. There is LOTS of down time. The traffic varies and most of the time you are doing nothing. My biggest responsibility was opening the door in the morning. I have photos of a co-worker who actually fell asleep at his desk around 2pm, it’s that boring. I eventually quit."

"I loved helping the customer find what they were looking for. I did not like the lax return policy. Do not like the fitting room policy, lots of theft due to these policies, which affects the bottom line, resulting in low pay. Macy's used to be a great place to shop, now it's not much better than your corner Walmart."

"People don't appreciate you. Especially around holidays. I had women hit me with their bags and strollers and not bat an eye or acknowledge you or the fact that they hit you. When I was cashiering during Christmas time, I had women yell at me to do my job yelling profanity in front of massive lines of people because they didn't want the store credit, they wanted their cash back or money back on the card they purchased items on."

"I love my co-workers. I hate the lack of hours they give people just because they want to save some money. It would be more beneficial for workers to be able to work full-time, that way they would be able to keep up with knowledge of the store and the product which would make selling the product better."

In this company I don't Like the fact that their is no place to grow to move up higher in this company you will need to have worked in this company for years and even then there might not be a chance to move up."
