"Be careful to understand the scope of your position. They will hire you for one thing then dump several other tasks on you."

"chaos. It was hard to sell products when quality and delivery were suffering due to ill-planned management decisions"

"If you are great at cold selling it is a perfect job for those ambitious sales types."

"My last conversation with my manager was about why I was not on the phone making phone calls. When I explained I just returned from the restroom a moment before she called, she proceeded to have a 5 min conversation about why I was not at my desk, knowing that I went to the restroom."

"Sales position, commission based pay is not good to rely on for covering monthly bills"

"I loved the product and enjoyed selling it within the school systems."
What do you like about working at SchoolFusion?
"I worked from home and traveled to see clients. I went into the office once per quarter. I am very productive working from home. Quotas were reasonable, reachable but only if you worked for them."
What don't you like about working at SchoolFusion?
"The corporate culture didn't really include the outside (remote) reps. Most of the company was younger than I am and enjoyed drinking, I am not much of a drinker, so when I went to the office I didn't fit in all that well. Additionally, inside reps had the ability to cherry pick accounts in the outside reps territory."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"A little more cohesiveness between the inside and outside reps would have made for a better environment. Sometimes I felt that we were pitted against each other instead of working as a team."
