"I enjoyed being the maintenance engineer and leading people; I enjoyed the challenges of solving problems finding feasible and suitable solutions; and I enjoyed the complexity of the equipment."

What don't you like about working at RR Donnelley?

"I was disappointed with the corporate managements philosophy of allowing equipment to deteriorate and fail, rather than taking preventative measures. I was also disappointed with the no training concept that is, one of our most important assets should be our personnel and training them to be able to perform their assignments as best as possible should at least be on the priority list."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Execute preventative and predictive maintenance; take care of all equipment; and take better care of all personnel especially with respect to training."

"I did not like working third shift, which was required of me for many weeks of the year."
