"Basically NO career advancement on the Govt. side of the company. The advice I was given on how to succeed at Rockwell Collins was to leave and then come back in a bout 10 years. Quote from a beaten down co-worker: Once they know you are unwilling to move you will never again get a raise."

"Stop with the mental handjobs and just be honest with your employees."

"In December of 2007 my position as senior accountant at Rockwell Collins was eliminated when all accounting functions were transferred to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I was given the opportunity to transfer to Cedar Rapids but chose to stay in Salt Lake City."

"Be patient regarding meeting your goals, it takes many years of hard work for achievement."

"I worked at the main plant of Rockwell and it is an older building and has less laboratories and office space than the newer buildings."
