"My own personal experience. At the beginning of the pandemic I saw management personnel saving toilet paper, sanitizer, etc for their friends in the stockroom and was yelled at when I attempted to report it. After that I was repeatedly written up for things that weren't true even though I could prove them with security tapes and/or documents, the store manager has consistently refused to look at them. Managers routinely curse, threaten, and verbally female cashiers that a particular manager doesn't like, female cashiers constantly quit. Male cashiers are treated great. Management are all female. A young, friendly female cashier was actually assaulted in the store by a customer who backed her against merchandise and stroked her shoulders and face and hair and manager saw it and laughed and walked away because she thought it was cute and funny that a man in his 60s would "go after" a young woman. It was another cashier that stopped it and told the man to get his hands off the woman. The young woman quit Rite Aid a week later. No Rite Aid management ever even asked her if she was all right."
