"I have worked for RehabCare since October 2017 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a SNF in Minnesota. As someone working for a larger company, I found it difficult to get answers from upper management (ie HR, benefits, etc.). The company did little to recognize its employees and never offered or approved raises despite employee achievements. On the positive side, the company has established employee spending accounts to assist with continuing education credits, and uniform purchases."
"I've worked for RehabCare for the past 4 years and I have seen many changes. The medical industry is changing its' dynamics. It seems to be more focused on finances than patient care, which is why I'm a bit dissatisfied and ready for change."
"Horrible company - all about productivity. And they don't care how you get it."
"Ive been working for Rehabcare close to 3 years. Ive been happy with the company until recently when I asked for a raise and was told NO! Ive never had a review and come to find out I was hired as a Tech, but only have done administrative work. I am just as competent as the Program Director, and often fill in for her when she is away during long periods of time. We work in a 5 star facility and our client can be very demanding, I manage to meet thier needs any way than I'm able to and thats not always easy. After Rehabcare declined me a raise, they were nice enough to give me the appropriate title change for what I've already been doing these last several years. Its a shame to work so hard for someone that doesn't know your worth! If you are looking for a company that is performance based you will be disappointed, Rehabcare is not!!!"
