"When I worked there, it was FirstUSA Paymentech. The entrance of Chase was part of the cause that my job was relocated to Tampa (and why I took a separation package)."
What do you like about working at JPMorgan?
"It was my first corporate job, my first downtown job, and my co-workers were very competent and educated - and, the place was big enough that you could hitch your wagon to the movers and distance yourself from the slackers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I'm sure things have changed, as operations went to Salem, NH, and development went to Tampa--so my observations are of minimal relevance in the eight years since I've been gone."
What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?
"I was not happy that my job left Dallas and went to Tampa. I was offered relocation but accepted a separation package (very generous - I only wish other former employers were as generous when layoffs occurred)."

"It can be a writhing cesspool of evil and spiritual bloodletting. It is a lot like a reality TV show....you WILL be voted off the island...its not a matter of whether but of when."

"The company is really small, it was only me my supervisor and another programmer; there's only a 5% salary increase every year and you never really get it unless you talk to them; It's a good place to work as a starting point; Adequate time is given to complete projects, so you only get to work 8 hours a day which is a good thing"
