"Do not believe too much from the manager. They are selling the place TMC during the intervening. Not much of want they tell you really happens. It is more of what they would like in the future."

"The manager did not know how to do projects, never allowed time to test."

"Get some training on management. This was brought up during and NGT, not by me and they still have not."

"There was many facists of the company to work with and a few really good Senior level programmers to learn from."

"if you are a beginner/intermedient level programmer it's a good place. If you are seasoned I would look elsewhere."

"The compensation and growth opprotunities are very low."

"They need to look real hard at certain senior level personal."

"This company's IT department just wants to use you. I heard a supervisor tell the old developers: pick his brains when they were hiring a new programmer.Ask about career advancement and growth and watch them cringe.They will tell you about 'standards' that are stricktly followed. Don't be deceived. They're not talking about common standards. You will have to learn how to use all of the old standards that they made up and that are far removed from the common standards. And you must stick to those old standards like glue whether you think they are correct or not.Ask about using tiers, active directory and windows authentication. These are all things that they are still trying to understand.Most of all, think about your career. After working for 2 years with a company that is 10 years behind, what will you be able to put on your resume"
What don't you like about working at Krasdale Foods?
"This company's IT department is about 10 years behind in technology. Although they are using new platforms such as .NET and SQL Server 2005, their practices and standards remain in the 1990's. If you try to recommend new techniques, they will tell you to be quite about it for the sake of their own job security. If you don't listen, they will fabricate a way to legally fire you."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of the old VB6 developers and hire some fresh, experienced .NET developers. Also hire a DBA to fix the damage done to the company's database by the current legacy developers. In fact, my advice to the company would be to hire new IT management."

"Wonderful people, always a challenge to be solved, company had strong faith in employees' ability to overcome obstacles, management were like peers and always ready to dig in and help, treated everyone like humans not workers. Excellent atmosphere!"

"I like the communication with customers and coworkers. We used to help each other to build computer applications which in turn were used for company workers or customers."
