"Bureaucracy stifles innovation. Co-workers often underhanded and catty around others. Gay porn is shown in meetings for educational purposes. Cliches"

"Need some kind of protocol to thwart firings based on personal emotions. Less short-sighted management decisions regarding technology infrastructure"

"We are always given the tools to get the job done. The environment is very orderly, but not overly stiff."

"Formality is appriciated. They can be flexible once they get to know you."

"As a medical device company, most of our work is to please the FDA. There is a lot of very detailed documentation. The company is very slow to change, as they want to make sure the FDA will be happy with any change made. For example, we are still using IE6 because of the expense of a validation effort to show that all our processes work correctly in the latest version of IE."

"Find more ways to integrate the latestes software processes with FDA compliance."

"They give a lot of time off. They also have soda in the fridge, and their coffee is good. The workspace is high tech but somehow climate control is hard because the skinniest girl in the office controls the thermostat. Or the hot flash older women are moving it around too."

"Don't. I'd run away right now and come back when they fix things internally."

"The culture, the attitude against our group, the poor decisions of the management; the lack of communication upward and outward and the double standard that exists in requiring overcommunication from us."

"Learn how to manage. Don't treat people like children. Offer real benefits. Don't bait and switch with benefits."

"As a developer, if you choose to go here, it is a good place to temporarily stay to gain valuable experience. You can be the employee who walks on water, but there really is no chance to advance. The ones who are in the high positions are there to stay."

"There is a lot of corporate micro management that is over excelleRx. Too much organizational change. The current development manager is not easy to get a long with."

"Do not give your employees mixed signals. The environment can appear to be very laxed, however, they will quickly tighten down and scold employees out of nowhere."
