"Love being able to progress by myself. Hate that sometimes my works aren't acknowledged. Being a programmer you always are enthusiastic about something which you truly are passionate about . You need a good helping hand to make you more energetic and progressive . Sometimes I do lack that appreciation . Though it never gets me to stop progressing myself."
"I don't see any reason to hate this company. I love working such companies where one could get chance to work on many open source technologies."
"I enjoyed the line of work I was in. Just not with that company."
"The application programming work is great! You can work on teams and independently. Teams can be spread across the country or globe. Teams that must use off shore resources are hindered if the time zone difference is so great that you don't have overlapping business hours."
"I love programming and hate late night work in the office."
"My role as an analyst programmer is satisfying in terms of the development, team work and mentoring activities which I do. The experience of being an analyst programmer is good, since we gain expertise on how to lead a team along with deep technical expertise in various modules of SAP. However, the pay at Accenture is slightly disappointing for the kind of efforts we put in."
"The work load is good. The working environment is good too. It just the technology used is too old."
"Truthfully, I feel not loaded enough. It may not seem to be a problem, but it is hard to kill time if you are sitting there 8.5 hours any way. On a positive note I learned UNIX there."
"Good company. Great place to work for, will go back again."

"Authoritarian, low pay, high work load, just not a nice place!"
What do you like about working at Case Western Reserve University?
"Not a lot really. It is a well recognized institution, and outsiders probably think it has a good reputation; and even I agree that it does, just not as an employer. In the end, their reputation will not do me much good, I didn't stay for long."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't. I won't even advise you to scrutinize them because they lied to me in the interview about some very specific questions I asked them. I did not get what I was sold on. There are so many better organizations out there!"
What don't you like about working at Case Western Reserve University?
"Management is authoritarian, micro-manages, and is pretentious. The work-load is out of balance with the pay - too much work! They keep some horribly ill-mannered people around for years. A good portion of people from my department have left already and many are looking."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Retire! You are beyond help. If you must stick around, try not to think you are better than other people, it all begins with mutual respect - it's not that hard!"

"Avoid!!! Authoritarian management style and the parking is a joke!"
What do you like about working at Case Western Reserve University?
"Short commute from home to parking lot. There were some very nice people there - just not the ones that mattered."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask lots of questions and really scrutinize their response, I was blatantly lied to - so that I would take the job, then to find out later it was a disaster. I wish I had paid even more attention to subtle use of language, pauses, and asked even more precise questions."
What don't you like about working at Case Western Reserve University?
"The authoritarian culture, the high cost of parking, the location of the parking lot is usually very far from your office. It takes less time for me to drive to work than to walk from my car to my office."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be less authoritarian, I know of one position where they're on their 4th person in the space of 12 months. Maybe it's you not them. Don't tell me what to do, ask me, I will do it anyway. They genuinely believe that you as a subordinate are a pawn to be ordered around - work with your employees as equals not as over-lords."

What do you like about working at Wesco Aircraft Hardware?
"Employees can be very friendly when happy. Boss can get very excited sometimes and will provide support on projects they are excited about."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The environment is fun, and you can really enjoy yourself some days. Keep in mind, however, that this company is run by a lot of old people who are set in their ways, and sometimes keeping your boss happy is more important than actually doing the work you were assigned."
What don't you like about working at Wesco Aircraft Hardware?
"Bosses have severe ADD. Ego of bosses often results in employees being caught in the middle of power struggles. Bosses are highly dismissive of ideas and will frequently interrupt employees, cutting them off and criticizing ideas that were not completely verbalized."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to your employees. If you trust them enough to place a project on them, trust them enough to consider their ideas on how a project should proceed. Stop hiding in your office and observe and engage your employees--you cannot accurately determine what obstacles your employees face by reading papers and forms all day."
