Pitney Bowes Employee

"I've worked within Pitney Bowes for about a year. I have many years within the industry and came in as an outsider to this organization. The challenge within Pitney Bowes as such a large company is understanding how to change directions. Maneuver the ship and change course. They we're a fat and happy organization for so long. And as they say, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. They are eagerly trying to manage change within the organization, but will take a long time to become agile."

"While being employed with Pitney Bowes, My primary duties were to provide technical support of the high seed mail processors. This included scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and off duty calls. I held a very professional relationship with the customer. The work environment was very diverse. PB is a worldwide company which provides outstanding training. I have nothing but good things to say about my former employees, supervisors, managers and employer."

"Pitney Bowes Software is an innovative company who has taken some negative situations and turned them into profit creating products. With the decline of mailing, PB has taken to the software side of the world, thus creating many technical jobs for aspiring geniuses. Overall the company is a great place to work and finding your niche can happen fast."

"The company has become too slow to adapt to the changes to their business base. The top and upper management are out of touch with their subordinates placing middle management in the business of politics rather than production. There are many brilliant people there, but sometimes, brilliance can be a deficit for the individual who speaks the unwanted truth. Additionally, there are too many examples of the Peter Principle demonstrated here. Keep your head down and out of view = success here."
