"I enjoyed my work with Pitney Bowes. I was there for about six years and did great work with my internal and external customers. The company is solid, broad-based, and yet surprisingly local in terms of procedures and techniques for our areas of operation. Mine was in New Jersey, and there was great adaptability and good corporate to district, as well as intra-district communication."
"Nice people to work with but the company is behind the times technology wise. In my particular division no room for possible advancement."
"I find that Pitney Bowes has weak management."
"I worked for Pitney Bowes over eight years. I enjoyed my career and was recognized nationally numerous times. Recognition included the annual Pitney Bowes Sales Leadership Conference. For the most part they did take good care of their employees and many of the employees have 20 years or more longevity. Primarily known for mailing equipment they are shifting their focus on other solutions, primarily shipping."
"Pitney Bowes is a good company that is going through many industry challenges in the mail and shipping sectors which is a declining market and working hard to develop software in other areas of the industry."
"The company had its day. Unfortunately due to the CEO's that took the helm in the past 5 years just didn't improve the company. They pulled it down. The only thing that made working for them bearable was the co-worker relationships we had built. Other competitors pay their technicians better and help their technicians build their careers. I know because of conversations I had with them. The company was in way better shape back when it was still run by the family."
