"Impossible toxic work environment. Lack of trust, back stabbing IT VP who throws everyone under the bus but herself. IT VP has all the employees as whipped dogs, they run for cover as soon she shows up."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Nothing will change as far as making progress on IT initiatives until management replaces the toxic IT VP with someone who cares about people. IT Staff won't stick their necks out to fix anything because they will get yelled at for showing initiative or for showing caution. Its a lose lose senario. Who wants to be yelled at everyday"

"Nothing. Work here at your own risk. The money is good, but it isn't close to worth it."
What don't you like about working at Perkins Coie?
"The IT department is a disaster. The people are nice enough, but some have responsibilities above their ability level. Managers don't understand dev process and attempt to micro-manage. Tools and infrastructure development is woefully inadequate for a multi-million dollar company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Your company has a seriously bad rep in the IT community. I only worked with your company because I thought the warnings I got from others before hand couldn't possibly be serious. Fire the current management & set up some structure."
