"Extreme fast pace, opportunity to lead people and change. Caterpillar taught me lean manufacturing tools that are very important to the success of manufacturing operations."

"Union environment - I enjoyed the people but if I had my choice I prefer to work without the involvement of a union."

"Always take the time to communicate change early, often, and explain how it will benefit not only the company, but the production team members as well."

"Be fair with every one across the board. No Favoritism."

"In and Out I hear is hiring"
What don't you like about working at UPS?
"I don't like the union. (They must go - will bring any company down.) I don't like the lack of opportunity, lack of work life balance, inadequate pay, and lack of respect (you are only a number)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay your management more than your employees. Dissolve the union and hold employees accountable. Fed Ex Ground - no union, drivers are their own boss, and if they don't work, they don't get paid. UPS should try it sometime. They might begin to see a profit."

"Be cautions, listen to everything that is said and try to ask some more recent employees about their impressions."
What don't you like about working at Rockwell Collins?
"No clear vision from upper management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have a better vision for the company, be able to explain that vision to the entire company. Also have the correct manager in place, if the department is a technical department, have a technical manager."

"Fast paced, Professional atmosphere, Mastered many aspects of the business, Challenging Mentally."

"I doubt they are interviewing, but just be yourself because you'll be working with a wide diversity of people."

"Watching us lose so much business which ultimately got me and others laid off."

"Sales and Marketing need to be more aggressive. Operations Dept. was solid and worked as a team."
