"My former director was very unprofessional. She had been with the company since the 1960s. She hired her sister for an inordinate amount of money. Her sister kept unnecessary drama and unrest in the workplace and always deflected from her own inability to do the job by keeping unrest at insane levels! She hired her live-in girlfriend and made her a manager over more senior and more qualified applicants."

"No support from upper management or local HR. Politics between sales and operations. Double standards and the good ol boys clicks."

"Hopefully in the past year most of the upper management has changed or you have restructured in a way that the mission can be realized through support in the field offices."

What do you like about working at Landstar System?
"from the supervisory level and below, it is a fine group of people who labor under duress. NLM COULD be a paradigm for the rest of Michigan as far as having a diverse, integrated workplace, united in a common purpose, but the ownership and senior management tends to cause stress, and do not stand up for their people."

"Too many unproductive meetings. Over-commitment to customers causes stress and sometimes unattainable expectations; too much micro-management by customers; i.e., they have access to NLM's website and should not be allowed to read trip comments."

"Aggregate has been great, however the economy has taken its toll on the company and their are no gaurantees of what is to come."

"Don't see this company as a place for a career. If you can, avoid this company. But if you take the job, get experience and move to a better company with better management and opportunities"
What don't you like about working at First Data?
"Horrible working environment and awful Management. Specially in the Monterrey Park, CA and Columbus, GA sites. Management has no concept of how unfair they treat their employees, or maybe they do and just don't care."

"Learn to treat people fairly and with respect."
