"Being a small business means there is just as much work to do but at times the resources are too limited to get the job done in a timely manor."

"The employees at School Dynamics work hard, do a great job and are skilled in their expertise. Spend a little more time up front considering their professional opinions than you already do, and the product line will improve even more."

"Working at Virtual Vision was an awesome experience. The boss and CEO was a great guy to work for. He provided great leadership and insight and positive reinforcement. Probably the only job I have ever had where going to work was enjoyable."

"Virtual Vision is located in the basement of a small office building, sunshine would have been a plus."

"Be yourself and if you don't know the answer to something don't just make something up tell them you will have to get back to them on the answer."

"keep having our Monday meetings to make sure our projects are on the correct path to success"

"be well prepared. interviewing can be very tough depending on the department"
What don't you like about working at Galaxy Backbone?
"lack of communication across different departments, sometimes makes it difficult to get things done."
What do you like about working at Sterling/Astrup Drug?
"It's in the health-care industry, so there will always be work to be done. The company itself is growing quickly. Also, there is a very relaxed dress code where you can wear shorts and sandals in the summer and sweatpants in the winter."

"Ask a lot of questions about the environment. Ask if you can speak to one or two of the workers in the ranks during the interview to get a good feel for the company and the type of work you will be doing."
What don't you like about working at Sterling/Astrup Drug?
"I feel the environment is oppressive, many of the coworkers are catty and grumpy, the hours are long and there is very little thought to personal time. The communication within the company and coming from the corporate office is very lacking. The organizational skills of the company are also thin."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Let the workers do their job, realize that the employees you hired are capable individuals who know what's going on, get out of the employees' way when you assign them something, deliver on what you promise when you hire, and learn to communicate with your employees"

"They like to encourage us to keep educated on new technologies. It was fun to keep on the cutting edge of technology."

"At this point they are downsizing in our area and starting to outsource."
What don't you like about working at QCSA Direct?
"After the merger, things went awry. Benefits went up more than 3x and bonuses were promised but never paid. They also started denying vacations the day before you are supposed to leave for your vacation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The management after the merger needs to become more family friendly. People worked hard and depend on time away."

"Being able to see the results of team projects and celebrating those triumphs."

"Communication is key. They must learn to communicate with each other better."

"As long as you are qualified for the position I see no reason to worry."
What don't you like about working at CACI?
"I do not enjoy the choice of rx insurance. Medco is not my first choice."

"I have no complaints to management at this time. I wish my contract was not ending with CACI."

"The people are very nice, and are supportive of personal goals."

"It's a great company, unless you are working for the 2012 administration. While I see a positive future, now might not be the time to join."
What don't you like about working at Newpark Resources?
"The vision does not expand to the IT department. There is no guide or good leadership for the direction the department is heading."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better organization. We have 8 people doing entirely different things all with the same job title. Project Management is non-existent, and should be positioned. Team meetings should include business concerns, not personal ones. Etc..."

"People and culture were big positives, as well as benefits and PTO."

"Keep looking unless you like painful, long hours, pay cuts, bonuses yanked, & little reward for your accomplishments."
What don't you like about working at Better World Books?
"Working under the new CEO and CIO are huge negatives, both individuals are ruining the culture."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of your suits and ties, BMWs, and dress shoes - and get grounded. The culture here is more down to earth... We are not Amazon.com, or publicly traded."

"I like the people I work with, they are all great people to work with and work for, they actually do listen with the exception of a select few which is a given at any organization."

"be very short and stern with answers and give whole answers. Fill out your resume without any grammar issues and sound intelligent but not overly intelligent like you're caking it."
What don't you like about working at Polar Tank Trailer?
"Pay incentives are very low and could be increased to give a reason for people to stay and not have 75% turn around rate within the shop environment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Offer a higher incentive to stay, and work at Polar as well as more vacation time"
