What do you like about working at NBCUniversal?

"They had a well stocked kitchen and good airconditioning. Saddly enough, that's all they had."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't worry about lying about your intent to make a career of working for Universal, you won't be there for more than 3 years, before its time to find another company to get a raise, for your experience and knowledge. You won't be getting one at NBC Universal.Just do the NBC Universal, Disney, Warner Brothers shuffle and maybe you'll make a decent living."

What don't you like about working at NBCUniversal?

"The employees were overworked, underpaid and the carrot of future pay, never materialized for most people who work there. The only way employees would be compensated better, would be for them to go work for another company and then come back and renegotiate their salary at Universal."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay your employees better and pay them for overtime, instead of cheaping out, trying to make compensation salary based."

"Be content to do the same thing every day with no variety."

"They only sent me out on the field once. I had to answer consumer hotline calls and solve viewer's consumer problems. I graduated with a B.S. in television production/journalism and wanted to get some more experience in that area - not being a mediator."

"Let the interns experience all aspects of the company and work in different departments. I did not request to be in the consumer Alert Department, but they placed me there."
