"STOP BUYING semi investment firms and revert back to manufacturing DRAM."

"Being a successful problem solver. Moving back into a sales role the past year provided me with additional challenges and learning. Is it bad if I say... most people, it was an interesting variety of people but I did manage to get along with all and enjoyed the atmosphere."

"Listen to what you are being offered, write the information down and who spoke of it. Before accepting, see the offer fully in writing... and get a fully signed copy on day of hire."

"The management structure. Individuals in positions that they were not capable of their duties but remaining in the position because of middle management. I am probably being a little too forward here!"

"Focus on a solution to the problem, it may not always be as it appears. Listen carefully to what middle management is saying and you will realize the problem."

"For the first 5 years, it was great. I was learning a lot, and had the opportunities to cross train into other fields. Then management changes pigeon holed me, limited my opportunities, and even kept me from transferring to other groups."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Due to the volatility of the semiconductor industry, I would interview for this company as a temporary job. It is a good place to gain some experience, and when the market conditions are good, the educational benefits are great, if your shift allows you time to go back to school, and maintain a home life."

"How people were chosen for promotions, and how people were chosen to be hired."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop the micro-management, and the good ol' boy mentality."

What do you like about working at Micron Technology?

"I had a great supervisor, Josh Johnston. My fellow technicians were also great to work with. I do enjoy performing equipment engineering functions, I did experience job satisfaction."

"Don't."

"No opportunity for any advancement. No reward for doing good work."

"Plan better."

"They allow management to have relations with employees, if you see you get fired, company knows."

"It has been a good 6 years, but I am looking for a new direction."

"Always free yourself enough for additional projects, those are the ones that get you furthest."

"I did not always feel appreciated. Politics made work more tedious/complicated than it had to be."

"The leadership team needs to focus and allow more for employee development career-wise and personally."
