"Get in touch with your outside teams."

"I enjoyed selling the most innovative new technology advancements available to my new clients. MCI had an excellent training program and provided workshops to my salesforce, and I enjoyed how MCI WorldCom took a vested interest in my growth and provided feedback with video equipment and an audience to help advance my success."

What don't you like about working at MCI?

"The stock started dropping and the ambiance and overall mood of the employees during this time was grim."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"MCI WorldCom's CEO made some poor decisions, which in turn affected the bankruptcy."

"MCI was one of the great new CLECs to the scene in the mid to late 90's, however there was a downturn in regard to how its financials were handled."

What do you like about working at MCI?

"MCI Worldcom was one of the first corporate companies that I've had the pleasure of working for. I enjoyed the company benefits and the hopes of growth. The office I worked in was eventually closed down."

"Since the company is now part of Verizon I would not have any advice."

"I would have liked to have moved further with the company had they kept the course that they started with in the beginning before the downturn."

"Be honest and open about what you're willing to do in the position you're applying for. If you don't like talking to customers and giving 100% to this type of work, then you should not apply."

What don't you like about working at MCI?

"I did not like that when SKYTEL COMMUNICATIONS/MCI was WorldCom, our companies morale and ethical values were challenged by its accounting misconduct."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Very little, management was great! I think the only thing I can say is, they could have given the sales and project teams more latitude in how we controlled out contracts."
