"MHE is a solid company to work for in terms of passion, corporate culture, and leadership that genuinely cares. I have regular contact with management and can speak transparently about my needs to grow my career or accomplish the tasks at hand."
"Great company, but going through lots of changes and lots of layoffs, despite telling employees they are doing what they can to save jobs."
"I have worked at McGraw Hill as an IT Intern for two years and enjoyed my job as well as the people I worked with."
"Continued inability to see potential in employees. Upper management is clueless and spends good money after bad for projects that are way behind and not what customers are asking for."
"I have contracted with McGraw-Hill since 2017. They have done a great job hiring smart, motivated, helpful engineers."
"I have worked at McGrawHill Education. Awesome environment to work with."

"I have worked for McGraw-Hill Education for about 18 months. I am quite satisfied with my work and the organization quite well."
"I've worked for McGraw-Hill for 5 years, and have enjoyed my time there. For the most part, employees are treated fairly and they care about a work-life balance. They have the best software in the industry. The challenge has been major decreases in sales and average net price over the past few years in the industry. All of the major companies are doing poorly. In the face of it, McGraw-Hill has had a revolving door of leadership that has no idea what they are doing or any experience in the industry. Only until recently have any employees with industry experience been put in C-Level positions. I think this is due to them being temporary until the planned merger with Cengage. Leadership is the primary issue with McGraw-Hill. They have old ideas, and they promote themselves to truly made up position names while cutting valuable front line employees. There are so many high paid "VPs" and "Directors" with interesting titles and nobody reporting to them, while they let go necessary employees and shift their work over to other already stretched thin employees."
"I have 12 years of experience working in professional atmosphere. I love what I do and making a change for the better with my work."
"I am working at MHE for 6 years now. They give you flexibility to work from home which is very cool."
"McGraw Hill has warm, loving employees who are open to change and process improvement. Unfortunately, the company has fallen on hard times and has had to downsize. I do think they try to care for their employees as best as they can and they have a great remote program. I wish them the best with their merger."
"I have been working for MHE since 2016 in digital product group. Great management team, wonderful work/life balance, and opportunity to learn and grow are Pros for the mentioned company."
"Great opportunity to work in an environment with both young and experienced programmers. Fun and lax environment to work. Main criticism is the lack of transparency when it comes to promotions and internal job transfers."
"I love working for McGraw-Hill. The people I work with are great and as an organization, working for McGraw-Hill is very friendly for women. The industry and in turn, the job as an LTR is demanding but compensation is above average for the ed tech space."
