"Be patient. Listen to your supervisoors and managers. If your supervisor can't get the job done, tell your manager."

What don't you like about working at McGraw-Hill?

"I didn't like the inside politics. It seemed like they seemed more concerned about the procedure of a change to a policy, rather than actually helping our customers in a timely manner."

"If you are going to tell someone that you will get something done , changed or fixed, you should actually do what your telling the customers because they will call back when it's not done."

"New leadership following corporate reorganization in 2011. Company has adopted a very short-term focus as they position the education group for sale. Low morale, concerns about job security with lots of senior / experienced staff having been released for cost saving purposes."

"Don't get a job with them. They have little loyalty and are probably not going to remain in WA very long due to financial difficulties at the corporate office which is located in the East."

"After my boss resigned and I had to work for his boss, I understood why he quit. Poor management and no communication other then threats and negative attitude. Very poor management."

"Go to personality training. Be more involved in product design and nurturing employees. Use positive rather than negative reenforcement."
