"Co-workers, diversity of job, ability to increase scope of work and apply skills to help other departments."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The company is growing but also suffering from those growing pains, the owners are unsure how to manage the growth so they read and apply the advice of every new book that comes out or they decide to read. The company has great possibilities they just have to get over this hurdle."
What don't you like about working at JADAK?
"Lack of financial support and reward for department, personnel. Company had record growth but would not approve raises or promotions for employees who earned it. Different management styles by owners effected reward system for some but not others. Would not approve education even though it's a stated benefit. Consistenly overworked employees (salary) without compensation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Support and reward the staff that is creating the companies success. Don't save money by cutting back on your employees financial benefit; focus on vagrant overspending on mismanaged projects."

"It was a great experience at that time, this was a project."

"it was a temporary job due to its nature it was just a project with a limited time."

"Instability. The company has gone through a series of layoffs and may close soon."

"Need to push sales more. Sales backlog is very weak."

"Zep is an offshoot of Acuity Lighting - it would benefit anyone to reasearch Acuity Lighting before coming here."

"The IT and MRP systems here are older than dirt and very labor intensive to work with."

"They would benefit greatly as an organization with an new inter-plant MRP system."

"Too many levels of management to report to and within the organization."

"The culture and the people are outstanding, but the systems are cumbersome."

"The lack of vision from upper management. The upper level has been in flux for several years."

"Don't force a fit with someone who has years of experience in fields other than what is needed, for example an outstanding salesperson is not the best pick to lead manufacturing and vice versa."

"Most of the people there are good folks that try to do their job well."

"Not a good choice for those with an entrepreneurial spirit and those who operate best with less supervision."

"Typical bureaucratic environment; too many petty rules. Some managers are caught up with their titles or manage by fear."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Shift more control and decision making to local management and stop worrying about the chance of a law suit."
