"There are always frequent changes of business objectives that we are running in circles. Communication needs to be improved."

"Good people to work with, inviting environment, compensation is fair with salaries, commissions and bonuses."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"just be honest. this is a good company, all of their issues can be corrected but steps have to be taken in that direction-not explanations as to why the problems exists."
What don't you like about working at STI Computer Services?
"slow to address problems, product is lacking, needs complete redesign, needs to be easier to use and needs to operate like software does in 2012, not the 1990's. customer service, which use to be held in high regard by STI customers has suffered within the past year due to various factors."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"update the software, improve customer service, software needs to be leaner, without the need of so much infrastructure in order to operate it."
What do you like about working at EMC?
"Employees used to be happy and enjoyable to work around. Great benefits and pay use to have loads of freedom to do your job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Watch out for top management he is a control freak and is only concerned about himself. He wants the numbers so his paycheck is larger. He does not have time to treat the ditch diggers with respect. He feels who he associates with gives him a larger paycheck. Watch out for the top, you manager may be great, but the top dog will come down on you and the manager will not have a say."
What don't you like about working at EMC?
"Management changed, attitudes changed for the worst, there was never any fun at the office. The boss micro managed everyone and everything. People came to work for a paycheck where before they were invested in the company and felt like they could and did make a difference."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get to know the employees and understand their input is important. I would be honest with employees and not have a hidden agenda."

"It pays many people very well for what their job is -- too well."

"Consider it only as a short-term option. This company isn't in it for the long haul."
What don't you like about working at Monster.com?
"The teams I worked on were extremely dysfunctional, full of petty in-fighting, a lack of cooperation, an obsession with innovative brainstorming while never actually doing any work. Group-think, far too many stakeholders on every project, a complete lack of understanding at higher levels of how a modern Internet company should work. This company is lumbering along into extinction."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The management team demands sycophants and yes-men, and there is high turnover in mid-management: in one year, I had three managers (one got fired in a fit of anger, one quit in a fit of anger)."
What do you like about working at Dentsply International?
"At the time just fresh after graduation, it was an amazing job and opportunity where I learned a tremendous amount."

"I think it's very similar as the other however the company has done such a great job that the individual does not need to worry yet I would always recomend to ask a lot of questions and almost have a conversation to get a feel for the company."
What don't you like about working at Dentsply International?
"It was my first job, and so it met all my expectations, I really enjoyed every aspect of the job and the people I worked with."

"I think management has met all expecations and I would not improve anything."

"At the time I started, the position allowed me to learn a lot."

"I would say the most important is to have your objectives clear and ask a lot of questions."

"There was no growth opportunities within the company for the future."

"Once again management needs to hire individuals who are qualified accordingly and carefully watch should they be over qualified."

"Company has goals but can't act upon them with any reasonable time frame. Upper management lacks synergy."

"Get focused and organized. Learn to understand resources available. Get a new CEO."

"Numerous people have resigned recently. Co-workers often describe the political culture of the work environment as a no-win situation. A small clique runs the show."

"The position is strictly commission based and is very difficult with our economy today."

"Overall the executives are the reason the company will not progress beyond the products potential. The talent of the people who actual do the work is remarkable. The a few of executives are so incompetent and that the CEO has either a lack of faith in them or he interferes and they It is not worth it....in the end you get so frustrated you end up leaving"

"Not much can be suggested. The issue is management and not the workers. turnover is high from HR to executive so any issue you have you can't rely on HR to fix"

What do you like about working at ReachLocal?
"You get paid a decent amount with little or no experience. If you were hired at a real company, you wouldn't nearly make as much as the idiots at RL pay. But there's a reason behind that. They break out the process of the business, so you learn only ONE thing, so you're pretty much screwed if you try to leave. Smart thinking you genius bastards!"

"Yea, for chicks...they really dig cute ones. Really depends on who the hiring manager is as well."
What don't you like about working at ReachLocal?
"Where do I beginEither sleep your way to the top (cough cough: customer support, then manage CP, then corporate apartment with car and then traveling international, all with no experience and less than 2 years)Be the lucky guy who just happens to be in the right place at the right time.Have a hiring manager be your friend, that'll get you a manager position right off the bat.Have attended/graduated from the same school of a hiring manager - apparently this works too."

"Most of these managers have not a clue how to manage. First job as a 'manager' and the ego gets boosted. Let's get real, you wouldn't survive in a real job out in the real world. You'd be chewed up and spit out, that's why you stick to RL."
