"I love what I do. I didn't grow up thinking I would study marketing, it kind of just happened. Somewhere along the line my creative side, my technological side, and my ability to read people's needs merged. I believe that having the ability to know the programs that your designers use gives you an edge. It speeds up production because you know what they CAN do and what they CAN'T. I believe this skill bridges a gap between sales and management. Being able to translate the needs of the company."
"I love being able to do both creative and analytical work. It's best when there are clear objectives, but when management isn't clear or keeps changing their minds, it can be frustrating. At that point, you need to help them figure it out. But that part is actually fun."

"Its easy to grin, when your ship comes in and you've got the stock market beat, but the man worthwhile, is the man who can smile, while his shorts are too tight in the seat."

"I had a great relationship with my boss and excellent references from him. I enjoyed the work, the autonomy and working with the team throughout the creative process. I loved being able to track success of programs, work with vendors, customers and management on promotions, advertising efforts."

"Display a passion for hardwork and a can-do attitude. Learn everything you can about the products and the company before you go."

"They were a little outdated in their compensation guidelines and very political."

"There lack of leadership and overall direction. They seem to stick to antiquated philosophies, have failed to adapt in a competitive marketplace. There is a failure to follow marketing best practices. Email spamming and tele-marketing sales tactics are considered effective strategy. There is a lack of employee parks, morale is low with high turnover rates."

"I would update the sales process, restructure the marketing department, change communication style, improve the customer experience, update communications, engage more with the staff, align sales and marketing, unify goals and strategies across the company, make flexible working hours/work from home opportunities, work on employee perks"

"Be ready to work hard, be expected to perform well, and don't expect any above & beyond recognition."

"It's the owner's way or the highway sometimes. New ideas or potential solutions are frequently met with, the problem with that is.... or, that won't work because..., but rarely is there an alternate solution offered. Ideas are shot down too quickly without the thought they deserve."

"Plan more. Fewer spur of the moment projects, more guidance and direction."

"With the periodic decline in the semiconductor industry, combined with recent economic conditions, we have been operating under strict budget constraints, which meant I had to use creativity to execute successful and memorable projects and events using less funding."

"The bar culture - a good deal of business is done after hours at the bar. Lack of professionalism and consistent treatment of workers."
