"They have their eyes on the future constantly and are very technologically savvy. They also have a good work/life balance in their culture."

"You had better be up-to-date technically, and demonstrate that you are a team player."

"You can get lost in the huge spokes of the company. It is more difficult to see the results of your work directly, and projects generally take a long time because of the large number of people in the approval cycle."

"Have a sense of humor but be knowledgeable and prompt with your answers. Give examples that show you are resourceful and capable of achieving results even when it looks like there are no solutions. Always come to the table with at least one possible solution for any problem you present."

"There is very little opportunity for career advancement and few people are ever promoted from within. Some very good people who were very effective in their jobs were let go."

"I would recommend that Alesis management encourage more participation in fostering product ideas from all levels of staff and work harder to create new positions for those who achieve results."
