What do you like about working at Unity Health Insurance?

"The facilities are nice, and the people who work there are good people that work hard and have patient interest at heart."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't trust what you are told about the attrition rate - it's untrue - it is much higher than stated. Don't rely on having a position long-term in any role higher than a customer service rep, enrollment rep, or claims processor."

What don't you like about working at Unity Health Insurance?

"Management is dysfunctional. Employees below the VP level (including Supervisors, Managers, Directors) know little of what's going on. Often employee decisions are made - ie need to hire or fire - but a senior indirect manager and communicated to the employee's manager with little explanation. The company does not invest in its employees growth. While the company touts process and general continuous improvement, in reality they are very locked in their ways and getting changes made is incredibly difficult with numerous committees, a morass of approvals, and general resistance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give people the tools they need for their job. Invest in employees knowledge of their role and the company. Develop a clear vision and follow it. Stop reorganizing the company every month. Get a new CEO."

What do you like about working at Samsung?

"Benefits are fairly good; the average employee really tries to do a good job despite crippling processes; PTO policy would be a plus if you were actually able to take time off."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make very, very sure it's a cultural fit for you. Know that you will be expected to work very long hours and weekends with little or no recognition. Your opinions are valued only if you agree unconditionally with the Korean management. Don't believe the storybook of unicorns and cupcakes that recruiting tries to sell you in the interviews. Know going in it's a very high-stress environment."

What don't you like about working at Samsung?

"My dislikes are: no work/life balance, you don't have the authority to do your job because you are subservient to Korean dispatchers, unfair promotion practices and no growth opportunities, high stress environment in which unjustified firings are frequent when you are used-up, the pervasive culture of entitlement, and there is no real attempt to improve the conditions even though management is fully aware of the issues."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust the abilities of the experts you hired to do their job, instead of dictating orders from Korea. Respect our personal time and give us the resources to work smarter, not harder. Money doesn't buy loyalty, reward your employees by recognizing their value to the company. Stop playing favorites!!!"

What do you like about working at Jos. A. Bank Clothiers?

"For someone willing to live in the position 60+ hours a week it is perfect. Freedom in hiring my own people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Get anything you are told about your responsibilities in the position in writing. Watch your back if hired."

What don't you like about working at Jos. A. Bank Clothiers?

"Too many hours, zero training. Not enough time to take your holidays even after they actually occur (which would be normal for retail)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"At least a week of training for all management positions before taking over/opening a store."

"The work would be interesting if there was a budget to do it."

"I would highly recommend considering other options before coming to TNS. If you do decide to come here don't plan on retiring from here."

"The apparent anti-American sentiment of the Kantar Group is a real issue."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"US management needs to get a spine and realize that if they don't begin standing up to the Europeans, they might as well quit now."

"No pressure or expectations from my employer. An easy work environment."

"Be professional in appearance. Ask many questions that apply to the job you're interviewing for."

"No accountability from my employer. No worries if you don't produce for the company."

"Form a Management Team to better manage finances and growth of the company"

"I like the environment, that I can bring my dog to the office, and the boundarylessness. Expect the unexpected."

"Be yourself, be smart, and be prepared for an amazing experience."

What don't you like about working at Amazon?

"I have no real complaints at this time. There are not enough hours in a day."

"Management should continue doing what they are doing! It works. Thank you."

"Many co-workers care and try to better the company. There is a lot of opportunity for improvement if management studies other industries and benchmarks best practices."

"Be careful. Investigate the freedom you will have to make/suggest improvements."

What don't you like about working at Kadant?

"Many in Management are generally close minded. They don't know what they don't know, but think they do."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Open lines of communication within Management. Stop positioning for the President's job. Communicate down throught he organization."
