"Busy schedule while maintaining a winning team of associates and facility."

"As a manager of a retail pharmacy you are going to need experience dealing with other people heavily, especially younger associates. Scheduling can be a taxing procedure due to this."
What don't you like about working at Rite Aid?
"Before the Rite Aid buyout, Eckerd was cutting costs with labor and only salary associates (managers) were working 95% of the hours. Technology systems outdated and time consuming."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Eckerd had outdated technology such as computers and networks making mundane yet required tasks time consuming. Upgrading would actually save money over time. It should be noted that Rite Aid is technology advanced and has approached this problem."

"I like my salary."

"My dislikes are: unprofessional management, sexual harassment, inability to control team members, the breaking of liquor laws, managers and team members who did not care, inconsistency with policies and procedures, not following the progressive disciplinary rules... I could go on but why bother. I think you get the picture."

"They take care of their people. The value card says they value their associates, my experience says they stand behind that."

"Military experience helps. If not, then think like a military person. Team first, self second."

"Ups and downs of head count. They try to avoid it, but sometimes cutbacks are required."

"Cliquish; incompetent senior management on many projects; unreasonable expectations; senior managers will lie and scapegoat to cover each other's rear ends; lots of lying to clients; stated Core Values are meaningless."

"This is not a People First Company like they stress to their partners. Higher management should have higher degrees in order to run the business successfully. Not a barista who works his way to DM because he has friends in the company and has no life or management skills."

"You need to hire managers that are EDUCATED. The people that are hired act like they are in high school."
