"Liberty Dover NH is a wonderful place to work. The office is bright and clean, has a cafeteria and is very close to the highway for commuting. The people who work there are some of the nicest you will meet."

"I have worked for Liberty Mutual for the past four years and I would recommend this company. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve had a lot of independent freedom in terms of how I was able to handle my cases."

"Liberty Mutual was my first job in an office setting. While it was a great learning experience, my office experienced HIGH turnover due to my manager's personality. I enjoyed my job, working with my team, but often got bored with what I was doing. There was little room to move up, unless you wanted to do sales and work off commission, which I had little interest in."

"Changes in management within Liberty Mutual's Investment department have made it an extremely stressful and unpleasant place to work. Face time with senior management is valued over actual quality and depth of work when providing promotions. There is no clear track for long-time employees to move up in the organization and current management prefers to build out talent by hiring from external firms rather than promoting from within."

"When you interviewed they told you all about PTO and ability to move up in the company, right? Its all lies. You will only get your PTO when the company is not flooded with calls, and they are always flooded because they don't hire enough people to handle the volume. If you are under 35, kneeling, with your nose between two cheeks, you might get moved up, maybe. Management may just like to keep you in that position. No matter how hard you try, everything you do will be wrong to a greater or lesser degree. Exposing yourself to constant negativity, both from the phones and the supervisors, is just complying with abuse. Don't do it."

"I have worked for Liberty Mutual for 8 years. Overall financially stable company. More customer focused than employee satisfaction. Pay is average."

"As a five-year veteran, the company is going downhill and doesn't know what it wants other than more profits. They care nothing about their people as it's all about how much business can you bring in. They're also tripping over themselves to be the most liberal outfit so much that the democratic party might blush."

"Liberty is doing business like it's 1975. It's a corporate dinosaur that has no capacity for change or evolution. The culture is over-formal and stifles creativity. Inefficiency is pandemic. The word "innovation" comes up two or three times in every sentence spoken at Liberty, but it's empty noise--the company is too risk-adverse to adopt anything new. Management is uniformly bad, because every manager and executive is simply trying to meet this or that meaningless number, any way possible--including massaging the numbers. No one takes responsibility for anything. Anyone speaking up runs the risk of bullying or retaliation. Senior leadership is delusional about the actual mood of the company or the level of dysfunction, and ignores the results of employees, survey after survey."
