"In order to keep a job here, you must not have any initiative and just take directions."

"Coworkers felt threatened if someone worked hard and were smarter than most. There were many two-faced and backstabbing people in the firm."

"Lock up access to games and internet except for research. Pay attention to inappropriate relationships and people abusing lunch hours, etc."

"Would have hired support for the secretaries, for example, file clerks, floaters to fill in when secretaries were on vacation, yearly bonuses. They had a no bonus policy."

"Nothing. It was a job, in a sweat shop. Staff do attorney work, anything to keep costs down."

"Stay away from there - though they are always hiring, as people can't stand it and leave, or get fired."
What don't you like about working at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith?
"Micromanaging. 12 sets of rules, depending on who you worked with and who you know. Some people could do some things, others got fired for doing the same - they play favorites."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Fire them all - they act more like Kindergarten teachers than actually knowing what is going on and listening to people. They look for the bad, never the good."
