Office Manager

"I learned so much working here, but the store liquidated and I moved on."

What do you like about working at Kmart?

"The broad range of experience that I encountered, the team we formed and a sense of belonging and caring about the welfare of the company and each other in completing our tasks."

What don't you like about working at Kmart?

"The pay was satisfactory, but would have rather been salaried and able to put in more hours. Payroll was restricted, at given times, so much went undone, or I resorted to working on my own time just because I wanted tasks fully completed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None really. I found that our management team was diverse in experience and compassion toward associates and customers. I really think we did a fine job considering we knew the store would eventually close in spite of our efforts."
