"Overall it is a place to work for your first job, or something to help you get back on your feet. It is definitely not something that you would want to make a career out of."

"I worked at Kmart for a year and a half. It was one of the worst jobs I ever had. There is no room for improvement there. There are no incentives for doing your job. There was favoritism shown to employees who had worked there for YEARS. It was not a great place to work. The managers would have you doing their job when you only receive minimum wage. All the employees hated working there because they were not treated equally. You do not receive raises nor promotions. I hated it."

"It showed me more customer service experience and how to handle customers around the hoildays."

"Don't slouch, have straight answer, be confident that you want this job, know a little about the company."

What don't you like about working at Kmart?

"Some of the workers trying to be boss. I never say anything, I just do my work and approach the real bosses."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None, they handle their jobs well. They're very experienced on what they do."

"Having an income, working with people that I get along well with, and having flexible work hours."

What don't you like about working at Kmart?

"Selling credit cards and having to deal with the ever increasing training."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None for the store management but the higher ups need to know that cashiers do the best they can to sell things like credit cards and such but it can't be helped if there isn't a huge market for them."

"That was like my second job where I first learned my customer service skills and my cash handling experience."

"Be yourself, know what you want and someone has to start from somewhere - job, a better job, a career."

"That the company closed down in Inglewood was bought out by Home Depot."

"Lunch Breaks and no shopping while on the clock or even on lunch."
