"I enjoyed the International experience of working in the Middle East. Transportation and Housing were provided since all employees live on the economy in Kuwait. The professionalism and organization of the corporate office were outstanding."

"Management should have been more selective in their manner of choosing managers. Reviews of resume should have been done with much more care and should have been more thorough."

"AT FIRST TOO MANY BACK STABBERS. THIS WAS CORRECTED BY SITTING DOWN WITH CO-WORKER AND HAVING A SERIES TALK THAT WE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE GOALS,"

"NONE...THEY KNOW WHEN TO ASSIGN PROJECTS TO CAPIABLE PEOPLE AND WHEN EVEN TO START OFF THE NOT SO SURE ONES AND MAKE THEM GAIN THERE CONFIDENCE."

"Just be prepared for lots of changes."

"Tough place to communicate change and continuous improvement. High management turnover. Constant changes in management philosophy."

"Stabilize. Have a mission statement and stick with it."

"Be cautious, This company is GREAT , But local managers in Kuwait think its the Wild Wild West out there in the desert !"

"Management did not have a clue on how to treat people, they were just looking for someone with a heartbeat so that they could charge the military for your presence and make money and milk the US Government."

"Fire em' all and start with REAL managers !!!"

"Lack of career advancement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"In the six years I worked there, we had four facility managers and an extremely high turnover in all positions. Upper management should have been more in touch with the issues at the facility I worked at."

"There is a great deal of pressure from top level management to reduce indirect headcount, which negatively impacts the customers."

What do you like about working at ITT Corp.?

"There were some very qualified, competent people. Management was generally calm. I enjoyed being involved in all aspects of government contracting - indirect rates, incurred cost submissions, forward pricing, etc."

What don't you like about working at ITT Corp.?

"The lack of adequate staffing. We were always just trying to stay caught up. There were no opportunities to implement improvements due to the workload and upper management's roadblocks."

"The individual units should be allowed to manage themselves. They know best what their staffing and other needs are."
