"Since there are other sub-contractors at the MSC ANOC, everyone else pretty much was content with their jobs, give or take. I really liked doing message processing and checking the servers daily because it is something I can do to help out more so than anything else. Handling the helpdesk tickets online via Remedy was also fun because I have always liked proposing solutions to the network team.However, being on the phones to help users around the world on ships was a difficult task."

"Candidates should be good in their communication skills and know their subject well."

"The location of my office was around 2 hours from my house."

"TCS should improve their appraisal process for better transparency and credit"

"Decent benefits. People are nice and approachable. Lots of team dynamic in each team."

"Buy a lot of monster energy drinks to help you."
What don't you like about working at Colgate-Palmolive?
"It is riddled with politics and playing them is the only way to get ahead. Additionally projects are poorly planned and communication across functions regarding projects is very limited and judgemental towards competing teams."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Deadlines are a huge issue. They continiously slow down projects with further governance but keep the same deadlines. Management needs to expand our their plans more to compensate for extra processes."

"Must have serious technical skills and be able wear multiple hats to provide solutions on a variety of technical issues"

"Lack of opportunity for career advancement within the department I work for."

"Use project management principals and analysis for technical tasks like upgrades, new systems to create smoother transitions and more organized projects with less support requests after the fact."

"I like the very experienced and hands-on management. They have been there and done that."

"Be yourself. For a new employee, the experience could be rewarding as well as challenging."

"Sometimes innovation is stifled. We have several meetings, which aren't the best thing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try having a flat organization structure. They have a slight bias towards hiring U.S. citizens for senior management positions."
