"I like learning new skills every day, it makes me excited;once I finish a project, the users' responses make me so proud."
"As an IT Analyst, I got a chance to groom others, so I love it."
"I love development and would like to continue in this area. I have learned a lot in the past years, but I would love to learn and work on the latest technologies that are coming out and would like to stay on top."
"It's not a very fulfilling job, at least with the company that I was working for. I enjoyed bits and pieces of what I was doing but overall this felt like a bunch of busy work developing reports and participating in unrelated meetings. I became a software engineer to build amazing things not write Crystal Reports."
"The best part about being the IT Analyst was the satisfaction I got after helping my coworkers with their technology problems. It was so satisfying knowing that I made their day better by fixing their laptop, their monitor, or any software that they were having issues with."
"Everyday I learn new things."
"I love the people and most of all the learning experience."
"IT analyst is a challenging job. But the pay is not quite satisfying."
"Although I am paid a salary that is close to (and sometimes higher) than industry standards in India (especially for an associate who hadn't switched companies even once after starting professional), My onsite pay (or rather allowance as my company calls it) in US is quite low."
"I would have to say as an Operations Analyst I wear many different hats. But I would have to say that I in my current position I am not open to the full range of technologies out there."
"Since there are other sub-contractors at the MSC ANOC, everyone else pretty much was content with their jobs, give or take. I really liked doing message processing and checking the servers daily because it is something I can do to help out more so than anything else. Handling the helpdesk tickets online via Remedy was also fun because I have always liked proposing solutions to the network team. However, being on the phones to help users around the world on ships was a difficult task."
